Hydropower Projects
In 2007, in cooperation with the Emerald People’s Utility District, Symbiotics LLC began State and Federal Licensing for a run-of-river hydroelectric project on Fall Creek Dam. The proposed hydropower project would have installed capacity of 6.4 MW from three turbine/generator units. (FERC #12778) |

Fall Creek Dam is located on Fall Creek, a tributary of the Middle Fork Willamette River in western Oregon, just northeast of the community of Lowell in Lane County, Oregon. The Dam was completed in 1966 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and currently provides flood control, irrigation, recreation opportunities and improved downstream navigation.
